Why concentrated ranges are hard collateral

Uniswap concentrated liquidity positions are not simple fungible tokens. Value depends on the current price of the underlyings, the amount of liquidity provided, the selected price range, and fees accrued over time. A position can be active and earning, or it can move out of range and behave very differently. Avana has to understand position composition in real time and evaluate what it is worth as collateral under changing conditions, not only as a notional paper value.

Valuation sits at the center. Avana determines what underlyings the position currently represents, applies reliable pricing, and translates that into borrowing capacity through a conservative collateral framework. The important question is not pure paper value. It is collateral value inside a live lending system. Concentrated positions can become nonlinear as price moves through or beyond the active range, which requires deliberate risk treatment.

Borrow, monitor, liquidate

The borrowing flow is supply a supported Uniswap LP through the Avana spoke. The position stays in the AMM and keeps earning fees. The spoke evaluates collateral and applies risk logic. You borrow supported assets from hub liquidity. Collateralizing the position does not turn it off. Liquidity stays deployed, market exposure stays intact, and fees keep accruing.

Because LP positions are live and changing, Avana monitors health continuously. As prices move, fees accumulate, and the position structure shifts, borrowing safety shifts with them. A healthy position today may be less healthy tomorrow even if the user has not touched anything.

If a position becomes too risky, liquidation must unwind part of an active AMM position, account for underlyings, and restore solvency with as little disruption as practical. The collateral's market structure determines the liquidation structure.
